Navy Beach – One of the newer restaurants in Town, Navy Beach opened in 2010 to rave reviews. Our only complaint is the cost – be ready to break out the checkbook to reserve a spot at this popular destination. While the sun won’t actually set over the ocean (in the Winter the sun will set West down the beach) I still love coming down to the ocean for the sunset. This tour provides the optimal hours for suntanning, specifically suntanning on a boat.
Ps- don’t drive on the beach unless you have a permit to do so – they will ticket you. There are countless places to catch the sunset in Montauk but the below options are my top places to watch. I’ve also included a few restaurants at the end where you can catch an epic Montauk sunset while you dine or sip on a drink. While you roast, we suggest you toast with the friends you’ve come with or with the friends you’ve met aboard. Boating is our passion and we want to share it with as many people as possible.
